'Hello, ' says the little pixie child to the night sky.
'Hello, ' echoes the stars in reply.
'Say, won't you go on a journey with me
'Through the Milky Way and back to the sea?
'The pixie child asked with such glee.
'Certainly, it sounds like an exciting journey'
Except I can't go to the sea!
'Sadly the stars told the pixie.'
Oh for to be together, I'll breach this galaxy
'To hold your hands and gaze at your beauty,
'Sang the pixie.
'Surely you flatter me'
And yes, I wish it could be
'But really we can never be
''For I am in the skies and you in the sea!
'Our love can never be,
' Cried the stars solemnly.
